Lava rock, busted boots, could'nt use saws but still got 'er done!

Kingston 2 Fire

Looking east towards Las Vegas from the top of the Kngston 2 fire. Lots of fun. Flew Del Rosa and Vista Grande to the the top and Rincon and ourselves to the bottom. Cold trailed. One shift.

Joshua Tree Trip

While on the Memorial Fire BDHS was ordered for the Geo Fire in Joshua Tree National Park. We arrived to the park around 8pm and then bedded down for the evening. After spending the night at Jumbo Rock Campground we attended briefing at 7am. Our assignment was to cold trail the line and mop up 300 feet in. We secured the 697 acre fire and were released at 1pm to return home.
